Figurines - Rosario + Vampire

Aren't they gorgeous? I knew as soon as I saw them that I must have them! They are due to be released in June (this month) but so far yet to hear from the seller! This is a very belated post, I actually reserved these babies as soon as they opened for reservation sometime last year (I think they are fully reserved now, waiting list notification possible I think).

I am not an avid figurine collector (I do collect but usually only from specific anime that I like), so spending this much on figurines such as these is a rare thing for me! I am really looking forward to receiving them!

It's ready to be shipped. Will see it in two weeks I suppose. Gosh I think I am crazily addicted to this group. And because I have been over-spending lately I tried to hold back and not buy Rescue yet. I usually have a "wish list" that I try to spread over time to buy.

Tried to purchase only two items actually - Rescue & Tour 2007 Cartoon Kat Tun II You. How did I end up buying three? Because when I initially tried to purchase the Hong Kong version (you know these stuff comes in different packaging for different countries right?) I was informed that it was out of stock!! Kiasuism kicked in of course so I ended up buying three in case it (if it ever) runs out!! I am so unlucky! I ended up buying the Korean version which is a bit more expensive. :( :( Doesn't seem like much but for addicted shopper like me every penny counts!! Some more Real Face Film didn't get particularly good reviews!

Sigh.

It will all be worth it when it arrives. I am sure! :)

Received the stuff yesterday. It MUST come on the last day of the delivery period. >.< (it says 6-14 days delivery).

Anyway I am really fascinated with Rescue, the song is really nice and the MV superb. Am tempted to learn the dance steps. ^^

Not particularly impressed (at the moment) with the Cartoon Kat tun II you concert ... maybe because I am comparing it with Queen of Pirates Concert ........

Quite like the Real Face Film, they were so so young at that time. :) Liked the music.

Japanese Classes

Ok an announcement to make.

I am very happy to announce that I have taken steps to further my studies.

I have started Japanese classes!! ^^ As of 22/3/09 to be precise. Really happy that I am finally formally learning Japanese (I actually bought a lot of books to learn on my own but it is harder that way...To keep the consistency that is).

And oh I found this whilst searching for hiragana charts online ... Enjoy, anime fans! ^^

ACGC @ Tropicana Mall - 21 Mar 09 (Day 1)

Woke up real early on Saturday morning, still suffering from a heavy dose of flu and cough. But any cosplay event is a must go irregardless. ^^

But I couldn't go back to sleep despite waking too early. Figured if I wanna exercise I should do a constructive form of physical work instead ... I ended up washing my car for the first time in my life today. LOL Anyway out of topic...

Picked Xan and her friend up (they conveniently turn out to be my neighbours) and left the neighbourhood around 10.15 a.m. Both of them wanted to change there ... I was already all dolled up, gave my parents and a pest control guy a shock as I stumbled out of the house hahahaha!!

Was really happy to be part of the Naruto group, they are such nice and fun people! My first time cosplaying in a group, didn't know what I was missing! Looking forward to a bigger group next!

Oh wait something interesting - first time I met an otaku who turns out to have a very strong interest in my character. A "fan". LOL Didn't quite know how to react, but we all live and learn! ^^ If the chap happen to be reading this - so sorry I wasn't friendlier, you caught me by surprise and there is one particular photographer who had been waiting a while to try to get a shot of me whilst you were trying to talk to me. ^^
